Audio Description

One of the first audio describers, Joel Snyder, Ph.D., president of Audio Description Associates, is a true pioneer in the audio description field.  I was privileged to complete his excellent AD training in association with the American Council of the Blind.  Joel shared his expertise and vast experience with the participants who attended from all parts of the United States.  Our many hours of practice both in script writing and speaking as an AD voice artist followed by critiquing our and each others work, were invaluable!

In order to provide optimal support and advice to our clients in the field of accessibility and inclusive communication, I decided to get the best training I could in the field of AD. It will soon be a legal requirement for companies to ensure AD becomes an integral part of their communication design and methods.
