It was so stimulating to be at the grand finale of the Central European Startup Awards in Bucharest on 21 November 2019. Guests and futureshapers from Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Croatia made this the place to be! Out of 5500 nominations, awards went to:

Best Accelerator Program, Best Blockchain startup, Best AI/Machine Learning Startup, Best Health Tech Startup, Best IOT Startup, Founder of the Year, Best Smart City Solution, Best Social Impact Startup, Best Fintech Startup, Digital Nomad/Freedompreneur of the Year, Best Newcomer.

A true highlight: keynote speaker Florin Talpes, Founder and CEO of Bitdefender, on the future of Cybersecurity.

Launching in 2014, the Central European Startup Awards has grown to span 10 countries to become the region’s biggest no-pitch no-conference startups festival with the aim to stimulate and recognise entrepreneurship throughout Central Europe.
