According to a recent World Economic Forum report the majority of U.S. workers will freelance by 2027 and almost 50 % of millennial workers freelance already.

Other research shows that the ‘open workforce’ is also gaining ground beyond the U.S. Organisations that rely heavily on acquiring and retaining talent for ongoing innovation will have to change their strategies and structures to accommodate all types of employer – employee contracts. The work environment is changing rapidly and workers with special skills and talents will attach much value to flexibility and mobility.
